On June 13th, 100 relaxers from around the world went head to head in a 60 minute relaxation competition, verified by science. Hosted by five time Olympian Shaun White, Aruba’s Relaxathon was the Caribbean’s first ever relaxation competition. These 100 relaxers competed on the iconic Eagle Beach for epic prizes and the title of “World’s Greatest Relaxer.” Participants engaged in a variety of relaxing activities, including guided meditation, deep breathing exercises, and lounging on hammocks, all under the warm Caribbean sun. The event aimed to highlight the importance of relaxation in maintaining overall well being and provided a unique platform for relaxation enthusiasts to showcase their skills.
THE PRIZES:
- Gold - "The Ultimate Aruba Vacation" inclusive of a four-night stay at the iconic Ritz Carlton, Aruba, two round-trip flights to Aruba, and dinner for two at Infini, the hottest culinary ticket on the island.
- Silver - “The Ultimate Aruba Weekend”: a three night stay at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba, a full spa day at the world-famous Renaissance Island, and dinner for two at the buzz-worthy OLIVIA
- Bronze - “The Ultimate Rejuvenation Package”: a romantic cruise with Pelican Adventures, private island tour with Isla Aruba, and relaxing massage for two from Aruba Wellness Therapies, to be redeemed during the remainder of their stay.
